Get involved in the Biggest Darts Charity Event Ever Held

About Dartathon 2009,

Dartathon is a 24 hour Darting event has been set up and organised to raise both funds and awarness for the brilliant charity that is the Childrens Hospice South West and the Precious Lives Appeal. The event will be taking place on Saturday 26th September from 3.00pm until Sunday 27th September at 3.00pm, 24 hours non stop.

It’s simple!… find a venue that’s able to host your 24 hour dartathon, a Pub, Club a Bar or Cafe, it doesn’t matter too much where as long as you have a Dart Board and a set of Darts you can’t go wrong. Get 6 players prepared to stay awake and throw darts for charity and enlist a few volunteer people who will keep track of the scores.

6 players, some scorers, a venue, darts and a dart board.

Stir all these ingredients together and bingo, you’ve done it.

Next step:
Register your team with Dartathon as soon as possible, the sooner you register the sooner we can send you sponsor forms etc and the better chance you have of raising more funds for charity.

Each Team must follow the rules and guidelines which have been set out to create a fare and competitive event.

The aim is to register a least 300 teams across the South West, if we manage to achieve this, BRILLIANT, 6 players can easily raise around £100.00 each, that would equate to £600.00 per venue. 300 teams x £600 = £180,000.00 now that would make a difference to the Childrens Hospice South West and the Precious Lives Appeal. The funds will be used to help the construction of Little Harbour, the new childrens hospice which is to be built in St Austell to help benefit the lives of terminally ill children and families across the whole of South West

Spread the word, Cornwall is hosting the largest Darts charity event ever to be held in the world.
